I'm a freelance multimedia journalist based in Colorado. I mostly report on health, science and the environment, and have produced work as part of award-winning investigative teams. I’m currently a contributor to NBC News.
My work has covered issues in the United States, Gabon and Mexico, and has appeared online and in print in The Guardian, NPR and Popular Science, among others. I have a MA from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism with an emphasis in health & science reporting. Check out my capstone on water shortage.
I grew up in the Midwest, raised by a single mother and foster care. When I’m not reporting, I’m probably hiking, reading cookbooks, eating popcorn or reading white papers on water conflict.
